Betty, I'm not a direct descendant of Eunice and William. I will look through my large Knapp notebook and see where I got the information. It could very well have been from my grandmother...since she had pictures. My great grandmother Sarah Ann Knapp Goings, whom I remember, was a sister to Eunice. When I was young, I remember my grandmother talking about Aunt Eunice. The Knapps lived in Scott County...but many of the family came and went to Pike Co. I have a published genealogy book entitled " James McEvers 1755-1829 Abraham Knapp, Jr 1759-1809" by Harry B. Zabriskie. In the index are found a Isaac, a James, a James M, a Thomas and a William....all Daniels. *A Robert Mcevers of Pike Co died in 1871 in the home of Isaac Daniels in Scott Co. This was in a McEver's Bible. * A George married a Mary Jane Stout in 1844...Geo died and then she married a James Daniels in Scott Co. in 1872. A couple more entries that I will give you later if you want. Seems that the Daniels were very involved with the McEvers family...if they are the same Daniels family ?? In this book Zabriskie mentions only Eunice's marriage to a Henry Tankersley in 1882. He doesn't mention the Daniels marriage. I also have several tintypes of Eunice and the Knapp family in early years...also a very interesting large scroll panoramic photo taken at a Knapp reunion in (I believe) 1923. On the information that I provided....was it correct in regard to the Wigel surname? I'm sorry that I don't have any more info on Isaac. Annette, I have very little info on Isaac and Matilda's children and grandchildren, only that they had two children,William and Margaret. So I'm so happy to have the wonderful info you sent. Where did you obtain the genealogy book by Harry B. Zabriskie. Is it obtainable? I would die to have a copy. All the Daniels mentioned are from my line. Yes I know the McEvers were neighbors of the Daniels and that Mary Jane Stout was married to a James M. Daniels who is a brother of my gg grandfather William H. Daniels. She was his 5th wife and they both died within a week of each other! I thank you for everything you sent me. Betty
