They were married in the First Methodist church in Pittsfield on October 11 1875 by the Rev. W. F. Gilmore. Their wedding was the first held in this church. - Mr. and Mrs. SCANLAND have issued a general invitation to their friends to help them celebrate the event tonight between 7 and 9 o'clock, during which hours they will keep open house. - Both Mr. and Mrs. SCANLAND are in good health and only recently returned from New York where they visited their son, Gus SCANLAND. They have two daughters in Pittsfield, Mrs. F. A. MAIN and Miss Minnie SCANLAND.
