Pearl Stottlemeyer and her husband lived up Whipple Will Holler at New Canton, Ill., Pike Co., Pleasant Vale Township. I don't think they had any children. They sold the farm and moved to just south of Plainville, Ill., Adams Co., Payson Township. He committed suicide by drinking lye or drainO and lived for several days. I can't find then listed in the cemetery book for Pleasant Vale township cemeteries or in Stewart Cemetery in Payson township. They lived right across the road from Stewart when he died. There are Hyde's in New Canton area.
