Bowman married Elizabeth Cochrane in Pike County April 4, 1850. They had at least three children: William, Curtis and Estella. William married Caroline Walborn May 28, 1874. In the 1880 census they had Louisa, Mary and Elbert. Louisa married Harry Atwood August 28, 1895, in Pike County. 1. I am looking for information on any of the above people, their ancestors and descendants. 2. I am wondering if these Bowmans are connected to the Predestinarian Baptist Bowmans who came to Illinois from Greene County, Ohio, but trace back to Quaker immigrants who came at the time of William Penn.
