Are there any for the Clearmont county, Ohio Grays who came to Pike County in 1846? I found a very good biography for this family at the library in Barry and some burial places in Gray cemetery at New Salem. The line I am interested in is John Gray who came to Pike County in 1838 and Nancy Bradbury, his parents were Thomas and Hannah Gray. Nancy died and he married Mrs. Stag (Elizabeth) Barnard. John and Nancy Bradbury had a son John E. Gray who married Nancy Mercer, they had a son Chalmer Gray who married Etta Maddox, Chalmer died 1-7-1920 in Quincy, Illinois after being thrown from a wagon. Etta married Charles Love in Barry. Some death dates are Thomas B. Gray 10-16-1870, William S. Gray 2-15-1876, Thomas Gray 9-1-1876, Thomas Benton 2-20-1909, Nancy 8-6-1878, John E. Gray 11-15-1888, Ralph Benton 10-18-1911. I have Etta Maddox Gray Love's obituary she died 8-6-1960 age 90, she is buried near her second husband! in Park Lawn cemetery.
