IL), Thurs. Mar. 22, 1866: Died in Wolcott, Iowa, on the 26th day of Feb. A.D. 1866, of apoplexy, Mrs. Frances M. Spring, aged 72 years. Mrs. Spring was a native of Pittsfield, Mass., and moved to this place with her husband and family in the year 1836. Her remains were brought to this place for interment and she was buried by the side of her husband and daughter on Sunday, the 4th of March. She left several sons and daughters and other relatives, of whom the editor of this paper is one, to mourn her loss. Thus departs the early settlers of our town. (PS: I am NOT related to this person.)
