March 17, 1920 Martha Ann Hinch Martha Ann Hinch, daughter of Mary J. and Joel C. Martin was born near Barry, ILL., Feb. 7, 1874 and departed this life March 9, 1920, aged 46 years 1 month and 2 days. She was united in marriage to Samuel Hinch of Barry, ILL., in 1893 and to this union has been born fifteen children. Twelve of them, with her husband are left to mourn her loss. The children are Mrs. Lula Eals, Mrs. Bertha Hull and Ninnis, who are married and live near Barry, ILL., Beulah, Orinda, Rachel, Leola, Roy, George, Virgil, Elbert and Elden at home. A daughter, Vianna, preceded her mother in death only a few days. Mrs. Hinch was converted and baptized when quite young and has always been a good women and mother, trying to do the very best she could for her family. She was a mother that was seldom found away from her home, but was always there looking after the welfare of her children. It can truly be said "Well done, thou good and faithful servant; enter thou into thy kingdom of rest." Besides her family she leaves one brother William Martin of South Beaver Dam, Iowa, and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Powers of Bluffs, Mrs. Elizabeth Powers and Mrs. Tena Campbell of Barry.
