IL, Friday, Jan. 4, 1884: " James Conboy, for several years a resident of Barry, died here last Sunday. The deceased was 64 years of age and a native of Ireland. He came here from Pittsfield and previously was a resident of Scott county for years. Owing to family troubles the old gentlemen isolated himself much of his time in a private room and only returned to his home a day or two before his death. The funeral was held Monday."
