IL, Thursday, October 10, 1901: "Harold Lee, the only child of Charles and Annie Reeder, was born May 18, 1901, near Shaw's schoolhouse, and departed this life at the same place Oct. 8, 1901, aged 4 months and 21 days. Little Harold was a bright and cheerful little child and had entwined his love around the hearts of his parents so that his early death makes their sorrow almost too much to bear, but they humbly bow to the divine will and purpose and meekly say "Thy will, and not ours, be done." The funeral services were conducted from the home Wednesday, at 10 am by W. M. Halley. A large congregation of friends and neighbors were present and deeply sympathized with these young people in their sorrow. Burial was made in Philadelphia cemetery."
