March 21, 1884: "Abijah Wright was born Nov. 1, 1809, in Westmoreland co. PA. He was quite young when his parents emigrated to Ohio. In Ohio, April 4, 1832 he was married to Miss Catharine Fisher, who with 8 children survives him. Father Wright came to this county in 1846 and settled on the farm where he died. At the time of 19 years he made a profession of Christianity and joined the Presbyterian church. In our midst he won a good name as a citizen, neighbor and christian friend. After a wearing and protracted illness he passed quietly to rest March 13, aged 74 years, 3 mos. and 4 days."
