    3. Bryan, I am doing lookups from the Chapman book - slowly - but I am doing them. There are two index on the Pike County page http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilpike/ Probably your best best is the comprehensive list done by Holly - there were a lot of missed people in the regular index and she has gone through the book page by page for her index.     3. CLARK is the name. I am looking for information on Caleb Clark who married Mrs. Matilda Butler on 2/1/1844 in Pike Co. Very possibly Caleb died abt 1848 since Mrs. Matilda Clark married Simon Johnson on 10/15/1848. I would be interested in finding out more about these events. I believe Matilda is my gggrandmother. Malinda was there a while; m. James' brother John: they moved to KS. I have a Joseph who so far doesn't fit any of the others. I'm pretty sure I have other siblings of G.
