Hello Melvin This message got filed without me reading it. Sorry it took so long. This might be what I'm looking for, so please send me what you have on these Nathan Barnes. Thanks so much.... you have be a wealth of information. Nancy You Wrote: Nancy In all our prior discussions about Winners and their being in Hooper Colorado, you mentioned Edna Barnes and not Nathan Barnes. I have a Nathan Barnes that married Lydia Huff and had John Barnes who married Effie McKinney etc and later in this line another Nathan shows up who died in maybe 1979. This McKinney line is different than the one that had the Edna I believe. Is this the one you are interested in? If so, I will send a attachment of the tree to you. You've apparently encountered information that has been extracted from a World Family Tree. These are trees submitted to Broderbund Software, the company that makes the program, Family Tree Maker. FTM users are invited to submit their trees to Broderbund, who "privatizes" them and, for the fields that have no dates, they "estimate" the date range. Then, these trees are put on CD's and sold to the general public. Some of these date range estimates are pretty wide, and I don't know what their criteria are for them, but "WFT Est. [yr. estimates]" appears in those fields. Hope this helps. I recently ran across the notation WFT est, which is followed by a wide range of dates. This applies to birth, death, and marriage dates. It appears in records of Scottish people. Anyone know what that means?
