They're my ancestors and I'm not at all sure how they all "fit in," so your information is greatly appreciated. Does anyone know what the "PCMLA" (of which he was a member, and who officiated at his funeral) is? I'm assuming PC is Pike County, and I'm wondering if ML is Masonic Lodge, but this is all guessing. Can anyone help? Thanks, Tonia Lorenz

She united with the Christian Church, of which she was a member for more than fifty years. Mrs. Strubinger was a woman of energy, capacity and self-sacrifice. The work that came to her in life was done promptly and thoroughly. Within the home her self sacrifice and thoughtfulness for others were constant. Her feeling of responsibility for her children ! ceased only with life itself. She was a pillar in the church. She contributed the largest amount received from any one for the house in which the church now worships. Her response to every call for money to carry on the Lord's work was cheerful, prompt and generous. Foreign Missions, Home Missions, the Orphan's Home-work. Educational work as well as the support of the home church received her sympathy and help. In the words of a former pastor, Bro. N.E. Cory, she was a noble Christian woman one whom Paul would have commended. After such a record it is hardly necessary to add that she is sincerely and deeply mourned and sadly missed. Barry Breeze
