In the directions i give....which i though were pretty clear....i said approximately....and that was WRONG of me to do...next time i will be more exacting! it IS VERY CLEARLY SEEN from the highway tho...and if you traveled up and down the road several times....???? didn't i mention that it was "nestled back in the corner"?? oh well....long as ya found it! :) the wording on the plaque of the stone marker reads: Site of the Galum Baptist Church organized 1843 - disbanded 1967 one of the charter members of the 9-mile Baptist Association.
