Surnames: Nowart, Strawbridge Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Rh.2ADE/389 Message Board Post: Joseph & Catharine Strawbridge, and Jacob & Margaret Nowart, and their families lived very close together on the 1870 Perry County Census. It is thought that Catharine may have been a sister or some kin to Jacob Nowart. All the adults were born in Pennsylvania, had some children born in Ohio, then the remainder of their children born in Illinois. It is believed that J. G. & Margaret Nowart living in Morrow County, Ohio, in 1860, may have been Catharine and Jacob's parents. Does anyone have any information on any of these families that may prove their relationship? Joseph and Catharine Strawbridge were the gr-grandparents of my wife. Any information would certainly be appreciated. Thank you, Dennis.
