    3. Jimmy, I don't have any additional info on this couple's children; but I have been looking. I just posted an email about the Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery today, where Johnson Harriss and some others are buried. We went by there on our way home from Colorado. We live in NC. Husband is a descendant of Johnson and Anna Garrett Harris by Martha Nancy Harriss who married Minyard Gilliam, whose son was Jordan Gilliam married to Nancy Elizabeth Harriss, whose son Moses Cornealius (Neal) Gilliam married Susan J. Davis Qualls whose son Homer was my husband's grandfather. I will keep my eyes open for Carroll. I know I saw a Mahalia Harris or Johnson or Gilliam in the last few days. But mostly my searching has to do with Illinois and not Texas, though I am aware, from research years ago, that some of the crowd ofGilliam, Johnson, Harriss, Garretts, etc went to texas and some went to Illinois and they kept in touch and may have intermarried even with the miles of separation. Edward married Polly Morris. Does anyone know the names of the children of Edward G. Harriss and Polly Morris? The only child of theirs known by name is their son John Carroll Harriss (called Carroll) who married Martha A. Gilliam, daughter of Braddock Harris Gilliam and Mahalia Morris. > >In 1890 Edward's brother John Harriss wrote: "Edward G.
