Our records indicate William Hatcher purchased this land in 1833 and was buried "on his farm" in 1855. According to the History of Randolph, Monroe, and Perry Co, this was one of the first purchases in Perry Co. This "Hatcher cemetery" was deeded to Perry Co in 1893. Records show that none of his sons were buried there and if any of his daughters were buried there, none married an Eator. So I'm curious how it is known that Henry Eator was buried there c1840 and if so, why. It doesn't appear that this was anything more than a family burial ground on private property and Henry doesn't appear to have been "family." Does anyone know who was buried there before 1893 when it was deeded to the county? William Hatcher, bn 22 May 1791, d 30 Jul 1855 was buried there. Cheers, Nel Hatcher
