I have a Hiram Henry DAVIS and his second wife Nancy VIERS TYLER DAVIS who traveled to Perry Co, Illinois from Gallia County, Ohio. In September of 1882 he died and in October 1882 she died. Does anyone know if there was some kind of flu epidemic there in the fall of 1882? It may have been something else that caused their deaths, but I am just grasping at straws. Thanks for any help.
