I apologize if this is not "genealogy related", but it is to me. My mother was born in 1912, her grandfather came from Scotland to Perry Co. IL. She said that when she was a little girl, they celebrated "Old Christmas". If memory serves, it was sometime up in January, but I can't remember any more than that.
