I am searching also for information on William Arthur Eggers (possibly Arthur William Eggers) living in Pinckneyville between 1920 and 1950. He died around 1956, but I can't find anything on him. Perhaps he went by a different name? He married Emma Voyles (I believe she might have gone by a different name also). I don't know if Emma bore any children, but they adopted my grandfather, Harold Joseph Eggers. According to his SS application, he was born in 1923 (that's questionable since he was adopted). But the family lived in Pinckneyville, so Harold had to have gone to school there. I would love any help you can offer. Thanks! Michelle
