Hi, Nancy, have you seen, RECORD of SERVICES, ILLINOIS SOLDERS, in the BLACKHAWK WAR 1831-32 and in the MEXICAN WAR 1846-48 and with appendix, War of 1812. This is a complete roster of officers and men of both wars taken from the official rolls on file in the war department, Washing D.C. This book was prepared and published by authority of the Thirty Second General Assembly by Issac H. Elliott, adjuntant general of the state of Illinois. I was able to get it on loan through my county library through the inter- library network. The book was an original printing and was in very poor condition, but they let it out to me anyway, hope you have as good luck as I did.
