Children of Hugh COOPER and Elizabeth DESPER COOPER, were: Sarah age 8 on 1850 Perry Co, IL census Mary J age 2 ( her name is actually supposed to be Nancy J. (she is my gmother and is listed on 1860 IL census as Nancy J. and on her marriage license and we know that to be her name. John age 3 mo. On the 1860 IL census there are additional children: Mary E. age 8 Albert J.age 5 Mary H.age 3 William S. age 7 months. Don't know if first Mary E. died but believe maybe my ggma THOMAS may have been named Mary.
