Thanks for the invite to the roll call. I have been looking for the country of origin for my ggrandfather forever and have not been successful. His name was Francis Anderson and he is buried at Galumn Presbyterian Cemetery. He was married to Elizabeth Graham and had five children there in the Pinckneyville area. My grandfather was Ulysses Grant Anderson who was born to Elizabeth and Francis in 1865 or thereabouts. If I could find Francis' country of origin perhaps I could take it further in Ireland, Scotland, Sweden or where ever her came from. I have searched so many ships manifests I am blue in the face. As near as I can tell he came to this country during the 1840's. Thanks for any help that anyone may be able to give me.
