WILLIAMS, born in Illinois in 1882. My ggrandmother was Mary WESSEL, born in KY, in 1882. Chris Sharpe was nice enough to check the 1900 Census which shows Mrs. Mary Williams and her 1 yr old son Lenard were living with Robert & Angeline WINN (as boarders) in DuQoin. Maybe she stayed behind while her husband went to Williamson County to work in the coal mines. She must have joined him by 1902 as my grandfather's birth record of 1902 (which is written in a coal mining ledger) states his father was a minor and that he and the family lived in a coal mining camp. Where there coal mines in Perry County. Are their birth records in Perry County from 1882? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks. Suzanne
