Il Queries Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Il/Perry/35 Surname: DEWHITT ------------------------- i am looking for information concerning the burial place,death date and place plus any other information on my great great great grand mother,Nancy(McWhirter) DeWhitt.she moved to Perry County reportedly in 1853 from Simpson County,Ky.her husband and my great great great grand father,William DeWhitt had died in Simpson County,Ky in 1847.i saw her listed in an 1860 Perry County census with the DeWitt spelling.2 children who were with her in Perry County were A.W.(Allen Wakefield )DeWhitt and Nancy G.DeWhitt ,who i think ,married Gideon W.Shrum there in 1858.she is believed to have died in Perry County before 1870.any one who has any information that could be of help ,please contact me.thanks.
