I am researching from Ireland and find it nearly impossible to get information. My father was born in DuQuoin in 1920 and I believe he was married there between 1938 and 1947. His name was J Warren BLACK. I know just "J" was his first name or initial , whatever you want to call it but yes on his birth cert was First name "J" second name "Warren" surname "BLACK" If anyone could check this out it would be great. Also it may help that he had his children (Earl, Kaye, Cheryl, John)christened in the Sacred Heart Church DuQuoin (myself included) so it may have been there or you may come across other children belonging to him there.
