    3. For those who may not have heard, the Galum Church in Perry Co, built around 1854, has completely burned. All that remains are the front steps. According to the newspaper, the church was burglarized, then set ablaze shortly before 7 a.m. Monday. Thought services have not been held there in more than a decade, the church had been well kept, and of course the cemetery is still in use. Sadly, there has been one burial there since the blaze.
