    1. [ILPERRY] WILLMORE/ADKINS
    2. Kay Robinson
    3. I am looking for information on Rev. Henry W. WILLMORE of Perry Co, born in Hickman Cty, TN. Henry married Harriet E. ADKINS May 25, 1862 in Perry Cty. Census records indicate that Harriet was born in IL and was 15 when she married Henry. During the Civil War, Henry served in Company D, the 110th Infantry. Henry settled in Spring Garden, Jefferson Cty after the Civil War. Both Harriet and Henry are buried there. Harriet and Henry are my gggrandparents. I will gladly share any WILLMORE/ADKINS info. that I have. Happy hunting! Kay M. I will be looking for an obituary for someone from around Tamaroa who died that year. Would the Du Quoin Call be the place to look or were there others back then? Are back issues archived at the newspaper office or the library? Becky Finney Smith

    3. Although it is no longer on most calendars, today is the anniversary of the Victory in Europe. Yes this is genealogy related, as many may have grandpa's who were there. If you ask any man or woman who landed at D Day June 6, 1944 and lasted until May 1945 in Berlin, he will tell you that it was 11 months that seemed like all eternity. I mention this as my memorial to the many who did not come home with me. Joe

    3. This is a virus warning. I have received it from five different sources so it sounds sincere and severe. This copy came from my sister and was signed by her so I don't doubt it. T *snip* I was just sent an e-mail entitled I LOVE YOU.....DO NOT Open it...It is a virus that will eat all your files and send the virus to everyone in your address book. DELETE IT IMMEDIATELY. I deleted it the minute I found out I just don't know if I caught it soon enough.
