There is a family story that of one of these men committed suicide with a gun, but none can remember the details. If you have run acrossed my CAMPBELL, please let me know. Hi, While not new to lists, I am new to this List. I am especially interested in the following families in Perry County: CHAPMAN, EATER, CAMPBELL My descendancies in Perry Co. are: CHAPMAN, George >CHAPMAN, Frederick Lessley "Fred" > CHAPMAN, Jonas > me EATER, Henry > EATER, Jonas > EATER, Jonas Washington "Buck" > EATER, Anna Mae m. CHAPMAN, "Fred" CAMPBELL, David F > CAMPBELL, Julia m. EATER, "Buck" I am interested in finding any descendants of : DRY, John W who married BOOTHROYD, Lovina in Perry Co., Illinois 09/20/1883 I am also interested in hearing from all descendants of any of the following families, principally from the Franklin, Jefferson and Perry County area: CHAPMAN, EATER, LINN/LYNN, BOOTHROYD, McLAUGHLIN, CAMPBELL, DEES, LEWIS, DOWS(E), FOSTER, HUNT, HUNTER, JEWETT/JOWETT, LOCKE, MOORE;, PAGE, HILL, CHRISTIAN, ADDISON, HARMON, LANKFORD, LEWIS, BURROWS, GRIGSBY, SMALLWOOD, CLINTON, HARMON, POLK Kimberly L. I am searching also for information on William Arthur Eggers (possibly Arthur William Eggers) living in Pinckneyville between 1920 and 1950. He died around 1956, but I can't find anything on him. Perhaps he went by a different name? He married Emma Voyles (I believe she might have gone by a different name also). I don't know if Emma bore any children, but they adopted my grandfather, Harold Joseph Eggers. According to his SS application, he was born in 1923 (that's questionable since he was adopted). But the family lived in Pinckneyville, so Harold had to have gone to school there. I would love any help you can offer. Thanks! Michelle
I am also new to the Perry Co. mailing list. I am searching for information on Madge Reidelberger (d/o Peter Reidelberger). I have that line, but she married a man by the last name of Hinckley. They even once owned a restaurant named Hinckley's Restaurant. No one knows his first name or remembers it. Madge had a sister, Lillie who taught in Pinckneyville for a long time. Does anyone have information on the Hinckley's from this area? Any help would be appreciated! Michelle
