Tasha, The address for the Peoria County Courthouse is: Clerk of the Circuit Court Peioria County Courthouse 324 Main St., Room G-22 Peoria, Illinois 61602 You probably will have a difficult time getting adoption records. I wrote to them recently to try and get my father's adoption records and it took six months to get a reply. The courthouse will not release adoption records on the basis of an oral or written request. If "good cause" can be shown it is possible to obtain a court order to open an adoption file by filing a petition. The courthouse sent a two page letter explaining a couple of options. If you would like me to send you the text of the letter, let me know and I will type it out for you.
