Check with the Peoria Genealogy Society.Also there was and still is Florence Critten home for unwed mothers.They probably had an orphanage.I can get the address for you if you like.Also on Knoxville Street there was a childrens home.I had a friend in high school that lived there.I grew up in Peoria. There is also a web site in Peoria where youcan post querries.I helped another person who was also looking for info. Let me know if I can help...
