    1. [ILPEORIA-L] Can Some Help Please
    2. Bruce Mundy, Esq.
    3. Dear Peoria "Rooters", I do hope someone there can give me direction. For years we have been searching for my husband's great uncle and his five brothers who were put in an orphanage in 1904. We have recently found the orphanage records from NYC, Children's Aid Society Records, Dates each of the six boys went on the Orphan Trains to Kansas, etc. Now we are working on each individual boy. Just today I got the funeral record for one of the boys who went on to become a world famous entomologist. The funeral records shows that his wife, VIOLET GOLDA JONES BRUCE, moved to 204 Oakcliff Court, Peoria, Illinois from Raleigh, North Carolina, shortly after husband's death which meant she would have arrived in Peoria probably in June or July, 1966. Does anyone have access to old telphone books, City Directories, etc.? Are there any relatives still in Peoria? What is the name of the newspaper where I could check for an obit? If Violet was the same age of her husband, she would have been born around 1895. Thanks so much in advance. Janis Mundy Reno, NV
