Dear Listers, Do any of you good people know anything about a Benjamin LOGAN who md 11/06/1836, in Peoria Co., Sabrina PUTMAN? Is it possible that he is the same Benjamin Logan who was b 1806 in Mason County, KY, s/o Samuel and Phebe RICHARDS Logan? They moved to Champaign Co., OH about 1812 and Benjamin went to IL about 1835. The family said he married and raised a family in IL, but didn't seem to know his wife's name, or where they lived. Benjamin would be an only brother of my ancestor, Elijah Logan. Elijah bought out Benjamin's share of the family farm so Benjamin should have had some money to invest when he got to IL.
