Hello fellow listers: Some good news and some bad news for those searching for Peoria obituaries. First you see the answer to my inquiry. Below that you see my inquiry. Hope this helps someone. Bill in Denver Subj: Re: Obits Date: 5/15/2000 7:47:23 AM Mountain Daylight Time From: [email protected] (jmcguire) To: [email protected] Mr. Gorman- We do not presently publish online obituaries. Soon, you will be able to access obits two ways. By Sept. 1, we should have our full archives ready. You can search for anything in the Journal Star back to 1991. We will also have available daily obits on our death notices page. These are expensive, time consuming projects. Hence, both will be available on a fee basis. We have not determined the prices yet. Thanks for visiting PJStar.com Joe McGuire New Media Director Journal Star [email protected] wrote: Hello Mr. McGuire: I was instructed by Bill Adams to contact you. I reach the pjstar website and look for information on deaths and other events, as I grew up in Peoria, was a PJS carrier when in high school, and am now a family tree researcher. I get a listing of NAMES on the website, but how could I view the text of the obituaries? Bill said these may be available in the future, but at some cost. Can you give me an idea of: How to locate them? How much it will cost? When these will be available? > Bill Gorman in Denver
