The Illinois statewide Marriage Index shows that the Peoria county marriages are just shown for the years 1825-1879.....click on to see each county and what years are covered. Your best bet would be to call or write the county court house. Also, I noticed something else, when the marriage occured in the Catholic church, for some reason sometimes the priest neglects to return the signed license back to the county....I have found this to be true quite a few times in Peoria county.
