Let me list what I feel you have given: Sophia Holcomb born in 1827 in Peoria and her father's name was Benjamin Holcomb. Do you have mother's name? Any month? I have never been to the Peoria courthouse. I am assuming I will be able to look at the old books and get dates, names, doctors name, etc. I know it is like that in Paxton, IL at the courthouse. I plan to call Peoria and find out just what I can and cannot get. I may need to go to the library also, but would prefer getting all the info from the courthouse. Lois Illinois
