Thanks for your responses but last week I found that the Children's Home was NOT formerly the Peoria Industrial School for Girls, but was formerly the Home for the Friendless. The Peoria Library has an envelope full of clippings about the Children's Home. So I'm still hoping someone out there can give me some other ideas on this industrial school. It was at 415 Richmond Ave. in the 1900 census. Thanks for your time, Linda
