    3. they were in use in 1940s, while I was in high school.. it was fun to go to the rear and yank the power feed of and loose power .... the conductor had to go around to the rear and pull the power arm down and reseat it on the power line. The end of one line went way out (ha ha) to the stadium that is now called WAR MEMORIAL DR. It was a dirt street then. RUSS [email protected] Never be afraid to try something new.
