Thanks Gary King! The word Saloon keeper was hard for me to read. I, too, am researching King from Botetourt co. Virginia. I have a Clara Irene King 1873-1956 on my tree, born in Fincastle, Botetourt co., Virginia, died in Iroquois co., Illinois but lived in McLean and Woodford co., Illinois mostly. Any connection? I suspect her parents were William King and Paulina Nofsinger King of Botetourt co., Virginia.
