There are thousands of lists at Rootsweb. The administrators are not all going to call America Off Line individually nor do I believe for one minute that it would make a bit of difference. Rootsweb has worked with them as best they could. AOL seems to always be the problem. But it is not true that they shut down the email to ALL AOL subscribers. And, obviously, this guy got through. It almost sounds like a hoax to me.
