Iris, I'd have to do some looking, I just recall being told that the family was related somehow to the McKown family but I think it was in the Elmwood, IL area. Hi John, I have a several of Samuel Levi and Sarah Jane (German) McKown's children buried in Elmwood IL. Grandchildren of Hizekiah J. L. and Cynthia Ann (White) McKown. Samuel is a brother to my Cynthia Ann McKown. About all I have on them is where they are buried. I'll try to forward what I have in my Family Tree Maker? If I remember correctly I got a lot of this information from Eugene Carter.
