My husband's maternal grandmother - Antonija Raskie Kauzlarich - married Vinko Grenko in Centerville, Iowa, in 1925 and moved to Peoria, Illinois where they lived for a few years. We understand from talking to other relatives that they were divorced in Peoria, and Antonija and the children moved back to Centerville, but we have no source info to back up this fact. Hello Fred and Lynda: Not sure how much help this would be, but I did a search for the surname GRENKO in 1930 and came up with the following: Grenko, Mary Age: 20 Year: 1930 Birthplace: Iowa Roll: T626_547 Race: White Page: 21B State: Illinois ED: 18 County: Peoria Image: 0399 Township: Limestone She is listed as in the Peoria State Hospital, She is listed with a whole entire page of women, no occupation or relationships nothing, listed. The only info on Mary is that she was 20 yrs old, single, born in Iowa, parents it says born in Croatia (Yugo).
