If you know of this cemetery, would love to hear from you, My ggg-grandparents are supposed to be buried there, John King and Mary Tucker King. Janine, This sounds like a wonderful offer, but I hope that you would at least include the price of film and development, if you are using 35mm. What type of film would you be using; polaroid or 35mm? I may be interested, but I need to go through records to see what I already have and see who I would like to have. Which may not be an easy task as I am so UNORGANIZED.. Could you please let me know your limitations. I know I have several members buried in the Brimfield Cemetery, but MAY have some in or near Princeville. I was unclear as to whether your wonderful offer included just Brimfield or some of the surrounding area. I would also like to be able to find the location of any graves for you. I do have a couple of pages of the Brimfield Cemetery Index that at least gives the Section that they are buried in. Perhaps someone on the list has access to a full index of the Brimfield cemetery.. I'll look to see what I already have.. Some of my family surnames that have lived in Brimfield and surrounding area. Surnames: Sharpnack, Curl, Goudy, Rice, Elliot, Wood, Longland. Hi everyone! I couldn't help but notice that a few people have ancestors buried in cemeteries close to where I live. If anyone is interested in having pictures taken of their ancestor's tombstones, I'd be glad to take on the project. And the cost would be minimal...just the expense of postage. :-) Janine in Brimfield

Did a Blundy die in a car accident in Peoria?
My memory tells me there was a Nellie Blundy who was connected to the Rinehart family or perhaps the German family of Princeville.
Hi, My Waters ancestors were also from Brimfield....some of them moved away to Iowa in 1870's. When did the town had their name changed from Charleston? Or the name 'Brimfield' was always somewhere in the area near Charleston and new settlers referred to Brimfield more often so long that the name 'Charleston' was sort of pushed aside into oblivion.... and at the same time, the area oldtimers who had known and preferred 'Charleston' died away. This could be the reason why we have difficulties to pinpoint the exact date of the name change. Mike swIowa
Susan, My fathers friend when he lived in Brimfield was Gerald Blundy. And my grandmother had a friend in Brimfield named Carrie Kingdom. Most of my Clark family are buried at Jubille.
