    2. Jack Trauth
    3. Hello, I hope to travel through the area later this Summer. While doing so, I would like to meet with anyone researching the LUCAS family which included Jane (McKenzie) Lucas, b 1790, d 18 Feb 1855. She is buried in Brimfield Cemetery, Brimfield, IL. I realize that most of the 19th Century Lucases in the cemetery are related to her but I'm always trying to learn more. Travel dates are not set at this time. --Jack Trauth

    2. Shelley Cardiel
    3. I've "rescued" an old photograph of Marguerite ROSENOW MITLER which was taken at the Ed Schultze Studio in Heidelberg, Germany. 3. I've "rescued" an old photograph of Louise BALLWEG BLOCK which was taken sometime in the 1880's. The photograph was taken at the Arcade Gallery Studio in Peoria, IL with Louise appearing to be in her early teens at the time. In addition to her name someone has written "Aunt Lou" and "Nana's Sister" and "born about 1873" on the back of the photograph. Based on limited research I was able to find the following information: Louisa BALLWEG was b. 18 Nov 1868 in Minnesota to parents Charles BALLWEG (1843-1919) and Minnie MASTENBROOK (1844-1910). 1. [ILPEORIA] Hertha Louise Burhans
    2. Tom O'Brien
    3. Rhonda, As you search for Hertha Louise Burhans, you may wish to follow anyone with a connection to her. For example, a simple Google search turns up a Find A Grave listing for her second husband William P. "Ford" Mautz. It reveals the much about him, (see content below), which should enable you to follow up with a number of folks such as the mortuary that handled his funeral & burial. You could contact the First United Methodist Church, Lebanon for their records. Since the marriage took place in 1984 in O'Fallon, I'd look for newspaper articles and a church record in O'Fallon. Elks club records may also provide additional clues. How does McKendree College fit into both of their lives? I suspect that since she died six years after he did, that she may have been living with one of her children in Virginia at the time of her death. There is a telephone listing in Virginia Beach for a Courtney Mautz. 4613 Ardmore Ln Virginia Beach VA 23456 Virginia Beach City County *Telephone:*(757) 471-3283 Find A Grave results *William P "Ford" Mautz *Birth Nov. 26, 1896 Zanesville, Muskingum County, Ohio, USA Death Apr. 30, 1989 Lebanon, St. Clair County, Illinois, USA Mautz Lebanon- William P. 1. Re: [ILPEORIA] Burhans
    2. I sent for the death certificate. Still waiting for that to come. I'm searching for children from the first marriage (Benavides) but no luck so far. Received the marriage license from 2nd marriage which is how I confirmed 100 percent that she is my half-sister. I would really like to find some pictures. The death certificate may provide info on children but the obit didn't mention any family. Who signed her death certificate & where did she die & is buried? Obituary? These are a few things I look for. Maybe you can put some of these answers together & build your own picture. Good luck. > > Beverly > >> On Jun 28, 2014, at 11:51 AM, rhonda.yamauchi@gmail.com wrote: >> >> He is also deceased. >> >> Sent from my iPhone >> >>> On Jun 28, 2014, at 1:49 PM, Bobbie <bobbiev@bobbiev.net> wrote: >>> >>> Have you considered getting in touch with her 2nd husband?
