Dear Mary, MR, and all, Let me clarify this. The main concern is that we do not violate any copyright laws. Maybe if you read the rules set by USGenWeb that the lookups must follow, it will help you to understand. http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilogle/lookups.htm Work you do yourself is fine. But if someone has books,(such as census, etc...), that have been purchased from the society or anywhere, USGenWeb states it will not tolerate copyright violations. And the society has made it clear to me that they want this rule upheld. I hope this clears up any misunderstanding and answers any questions.
