    3. Really, So all this great information that I have researched and researched is useless to others unless it is requested. My goodness, what is this world comming to when a person spends hours and hours of their time and can't share it. Wow. Well, if any one needs the info, what do I do? There is soo much and it is soooo helpful. My heavens. I have, I would say, almost every name in the county. I have pulled so much information from the films I have looked through. I through my family records, I have a ton. What is a person to do? Help ? Here I was thinking I could be a huge help to some one and now it is dashed to junk. How came I help share all this good information. Boy, this e-mail sounds like a mess. Some one tell me what I can and can not do to help. Thanks Bryn >>> <ILOGLE-L@rootsweb.com> 5/13/98 5:18:16 PM >>> Dear Brian and all, I appreciate your enthusiasm! But I must let you know that posting information taken directly from the census, marriage records, cemetery records, etc... is not allowed. This information is sold by the genealogy society and is their only real way of making money. They have the rights to this. At the "Lookups and Researchers" page of my Ogle County site http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilogle/lookups.htm I have people who do free look ups, but they only answer questions, they do not give out printed information. If someone wants printed information, they must contact the Ogle County Genealogy Society and request it, and of course pay the fee. The society can also be reached from my Ogle County site. http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilogle/societies.htm If anyone has information and would like to do look ups, you must first go to the "Lookups and Researchers" site, read and agree to the rules set by ILGenWeb, join the Ogle County Genealogy Society (their fee is $5.00 per year), and then let me know and I will add you to the list. These are the rules set by the Ogle County Genealogy Society. And we must respect them. Thank you for your understanding!
