My grandfathers home is on Washington St. in Oregon IL. He lives right accross the street from the Court House. Well, It is a block down the street. i recently moved away from there and I go back fairly often. Actually, I did not know about the genealogy room downstairs. i do go through the records there. The big books on the main floor. Found a ton there. Plus, i have learned how to use the films they have available out here. That was a fun one. As for Hiscox, I have heard the name. Every thing is small towns there in Ogle Co. My family is still there in many of those places. Many names too. I am now living on the boarder of Idaho & Utah.
