Bowers of Brookville, my gggrandfather, who married an Emrick and whose mother was a Stoner. His parents were Daniel Bowers (1820-1911) and Nancy Stoner (1919-1892) of Huntingdon Co. PA and Blair Co., PA. Mennonite family, children of Daniel and Nancy were John, Elizabeth, David, Jeremiah, Isaac, and Levi Stoner Bowers. My great uncle got Daniel's line (Isaac Bowers, Isaac Bauer, Abraham Bauer)back to immigrant Hans Bauer, born 1669 in Oberhofen, Switzerland and then hired a Swiss genealogist to do some work on the Bauer line in Switzerland.
