We also visited it last week. And I have spoken with a few people who are working on the project. One of the stones they put back together that they showed us was in three parts and three different locations, (including someone's basemant). So they are really doing a wonderful job! They say that years ago there was a main road going from Mt. Morris to Adeline, Forreston and on up to Freeport that went right by the Rice Cemetery. Now it's so far out, you would wonder why it's in that spot. It is very interesting, with alot of old stones. Another name you will find out there is WELTY. Thanks to Roger for bringing this up!
