Hello Everyone, I was born in Moline, IL, moved to Rockford with my family when I was 7 and talked my husband into returning to his birthplace when I was 29. I wouldn't trade these foothills of the Appalachians for the world. We are now about as rural as one can get and I love it! Now for the But.... While living in Moline, we made the trip up Rt. 2 frequently to visit relatives in Rkfd and visa versa. It was old home week reading the recent Ems about that road. Next time I visit, I'll travel it again. My family back ground has an interesting twist and I am so glad that this list has started and pray that I will be able to learn more through you all.
